About Us.

Who We Are

We are a Non-Profit Organization who’s only purpose is to better the lives of Nunavummiut by offering programs and services around education, wellness, social housing and food insecurity.

We are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of children

We strive for giving a voice to those that are unable to or that simply can’t. Children are the back bones of society, they are the future leaders of tomorrow and our mission is to improve the health, well-being, and peace of mind of those we serve. For children, this means we’re tackling the challenges affecting their health today, so our kids can grow into healthier adults tomorrow.

Our Mission & Vision.

What makes us different?

The Canadian Arctic winters are long, giving youth things to do that our counterparts in the south can do is important

Our initiatives differ because we try to bring new innovative ideas and engagements to the north. Take the Cambridge Bay paintball project, some kids had never seen or even held a paintball marker before however considering their abilities, desires and needs to hunt to provide for their families paintball was a great initiative to develop their fine motor skills.

Youth are the next generation of community leaders so it is important that they know and understand the stewardship values and issues of importance to their community.

From Paintball-drone training we connect youth to new ways of developing themselves and keeping their minds and bodies engaged in ways that have never been attempted before in Nunavut.

Safe havens for support

Whether you are facing abuse, addiction, neglect, loss, mental health concerns, or other problems, you can reach out to us. We’re not here to judge you, we want to help. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, any day of the year.

Community's that grow

The word community is, without question, central to human experience. Being part of an engaging community gives us a sense of belonging. It enables us to share personal relatedness and support perpetual growth of each other, ourselves and our environment.

Customized programs

Our programs are not cookie cutter based, each person is unique and as such is offered support based on their individual needs. From IT Literacy to Food Bank projects each person/community is different so no one program will work. We tailor each program to its community or demographic.
